Very fun! I agree with ScriptedWarrior, the early game feels like a grind and I would love to be able to explore earlier on :) On another note, I think the SFX could have been a little bit lower so the music would be more enjoyable!
Its an absolutely fun game. Sucking up the enemies to give yourself more power is a cool and fun way to keep the game going. I love the different enemies and how each one has a unique way of dealing with them. I do have a problem with how fast the power drains at the start though. I more or less spent time in the first two rooms farming flies to get more power. This is a take away from your level design which is expansive and doesn't allow the player to explore until later. I found myself wanting to see more of what you put in but couldn't afford to go further than necessary. If you want to limit the players ability to roam or feel a struggle for power you could add an x amount enemies to spawn in the starting room with a door blocking the rest of the level until those enemies are sucked up giving the player time to get more energy before trying to explore. Overall a super fun game that i enjoyed. I would appreciate it if you could try my game and leave a review as well. :) https://marquae44.itch.io/zombliens

One of my favourites of this jam. Its just so goofy. Very rewarding to visit whole map after enough upgrades. I would make charging stations more visible though.

Balancing audio has always been hard for me lmao

I just shut down to oblivion by miliseconds. I love the adrenaline. Its fun.
